Dealing with the council parking team was challenging and despite gaining permission for access on the day the roads inside the cordon were closed for a street market. I can’t describe fully how both professional the team were – rolling with the punches and getting all 80 guests safely to and from the church. The team were just magnificent. I am so blessed that I chose Bristol Travel. In particular I would like to thank James from booking and our lead driver Jon. The coaches were clean and comfortable and smart. The 5 drivers were great drivers, courteous and helpful throughout, no sign of distress at the news (through terrible traffic) of the problems for access that were awaiting them at their destination. From booking, planning through to execution and safe delivery of our guests at both ends of the journey, Bristol Travel ltd were superb.
Huge thanks to you all and please pass on my deepest thanks to Jon and his team, he helped our son and daughter in law’s day go perfectly.

“Have used bristol Travel a few times. Every time it seems to improve (if thats possible). Used then again on 3rd July, the vehicle was immaculate, the driver was smartly dressed in uniform. The driver arrived before time on both occassions and was very very helpful and polite getting out to open the door for us. The free WFI on the vehicle was very handy, and the price was more than acceptable. All in all makes me wonder why anyone would go to any other company. Will happily continue to use in all future trips.”

Jack was amazing. He looked after the group and tended to our needs. We were quite specific as to the services we wanted to stop off at and be accommodated us with this ask. He was incredibly reassuring when he dropped us off at the property and waited with us until we had found the right terraced house. He then unloaded our bags. He was very easy to talk to and with.

“All worked very well. Driver contact day before was great and airport timings worked well. Mini bus suited the group and the drivers on both trips were very helpfull . We were a small group of 8 cyclists with 8 bike boxes which fitted in to the trailer but no more so larger groups would need a bigger trailer. All worked great for us and and many other groups of cyclists were on holiday the same time (Clevedon, Sheraton) so could be a market to look into but I only contacted by chance seeing the mini bus on the road but need a bigger trailer for more than 8.”

Yesterday, after picking us up at London Heathrow Airport, we enjoyed a quick but amazing sightseeing tour of London thanks to our wonderful tour guide and chaffeur, Paul, with Bristol Travel Ltd. Despite the difficult traffic encountered throughout London, we were able to see Harrods Dept. Store, London Eye, Westminster Abbey, Parliament Square, and walk across Westminster Bridge over the River Thames. When you book a minibus from a company for the first time you, well I, always have some doubts. Will everything go to plan? Well, I shouldn’t have worried as all did go to plan. The coach was very comfortable and having the trailer was excellent. John was on time texting me and collecting us.
We were very impressed with the service that we received and will definitely get back to you for our golfing 2024 trip.

Our driver, Scott, arrived early to collect us and could not have been more helpful, he was brilliant and delivered us to the Southampton Cruise Terminal in plenty of time for our departure. The mini-bus itself was ‘spick and span’, and very comfortable. Scott changed the heating settings each time we requested, so that we were comfortable throughout the journey. He made five old ladies feel as if they were actually no trouble! All of my friends agree that we would not hesitate to use Bristol Travel Limited again and would ask for Scott to be our driver.”

I booked a mini bus and trailer to take 8 of us down to Southampton Cruise Port and to pick us up two and a half weeks later from Heathrow Airport. Having been a little apprehensive that our mini bus wouldn’t turn up and all of our plans would be thrown into disarray, it turned out that my worries were totally unfounded! The booking process was really easy and the information provided by Tony & Fred was helpful and relevant. I was also delighted with the price paid as I’d anticipated that the mini bus transfer was going to cost more than it did. On the day before our first booking, I received a text from our driver, Paul, aka Bart, which confirmed everything I’d booked and provided me with his number in case I needed to get in touch. He arrived to pick us up on time and was really great helping my family and friends by loading our cases and mobility scooters into the luggage trailer. The mini bus was very clean and we had a lovely ride down to the cruise port with Paul chatting to us on the way. He was a really friendly chap. Whilst in America, I received a phone call from Tony just double checking on our flight details with Virgin and making sure they were the still the same. It was reassuring to know that he’d taken the time to double check this info. As we were flying back into Heathrow Airport, Paul text me with information on where to meet him outside the terminal. There was a little confusion as we exited the airport (nothing to do with Paul – a man in a Heathrow hi-vis at the airport insisted that we had to go to ‘GROUP TRAVEL’ and we ended up in the wrong place!) but eventually my son located the Bristol Travel mini bus. After again helping with our luggage, Paul soon had us on our way back to Bristol. I am so happy that everything worked out as planned and I highly recommend Paul as a driver and Bristol Travel Ltd. I’ll definitely be happy to use this local company again when needed. Thank you.

I would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to your driver Scott, who without hesitation came to the rescue of my daughter and her friend this afternoon!
Unfortunately she suffered a blowout on her car on the Avonmouth bridge just after 430pm this afternoon and veered into the crash barrier. Scott who was driving behind immediately pulled up, got out of his bus to make sure they were both OK, and began ushering the traffic around the incident. My daughter was beside herself in tears as nothing like this had ever happened to her before and had no clue what to do! Scott provided complete reassurance, kept the situation calm and got hold of the of the police and highways agency to report the incident as it was still in a live lane!
Once the police arrived and took over the situation, they were happy for the girls to head off while they had the car recovered to our house, again Scott was happy to bring the girls home to Clevedon, I know it’s not far from the bridge but the sheer effort that Scott went to keep my daughter and her friend safe was brilliant.
I would like to offer my humble thanks to him, he is a true gentleman and an absolute credit to your company.

Great company! From the very start of booking our hen party travel to bath the company were helpful and flexible. I think I spoke to Tony at first on the phone who answered any questions that I had regarding the travel and was really friendly. Fantastic service from start to finish. My family and I recently used Bristol travel for a family trip from Swindon to London.
Our driver Fred was not only polite and punctual but also went that extra mile to not only do an extra drop off for us on the return journey despite it being late at night but also posted an item accidentally left on the bus directly to me as soon as it was found.
I would highly recommend Bristol travel to anyone that needs private couch hire and we will certainly be using them again in the future. 😊

“We travelled up to London and back for a Hen weekend. From initial point of contact, right through to the day of departure the customer service and communication was superb. Jack our driver was absolutely fantastic. We had a diversion on the way up which added a good few hours onto what should have been a 3 hour journey and throughout this he remained calm, happy, and informative, he really couldn’t do enough for us. I used Bristol Travel for my sisters hen do a few weeks ago. We used the service to go in to and out of Bristol centre on a busy Saturday night. Both drivers we had were lovely, pleasant and very patient with us! A particular shout out to Paul, the driver who picked us up after our night out, who called to let us the following day that I had left my purse on his minibus. He even went through the trouble of posting it back to me! Very happy with the service we received and would definitely recommend.

Brilliant minibus hire company!! I would also like to give the highest praise for this company. From the first interaction with Tony, it was clear that Bristol Travel are a nice, honest company. We used them for a two way transfer from Bristol to The Brecons for a fun stag event. The minibus was an extremely modern and comfortable ride and the service from our driver, Fred, was superb. Very courteous and nothing was too much trouble. A proper gentleman (if I’m still allowed to say such things) 😁 I would highly recommend them and if looking for a 16 seater again in the future I won’t even bother using a comparison search engine. Paul the drove all the way up to Cheshire to collect us with a trailer on the back for all our luggage which was a god send and meant we could all sit comfortably without bags around our feet for the long journey. Nothing was to much trouble even when we hit traffic and needed a toilet stop he accommodated us and re – routed. Exactly the same amount of care was given from our driver jack on the return journey he was very helpful and let us all stop off for lunch at a service station. Nothing was too much trouble for these guys. I have already booked with them again when we return in August.”

We used this company for a work related trip to Devon, our driver Jack was happy to arrive early and complete a LFD test as requested by ourselves. Jack was helpful and friendly to all using the transport, and was happy to stop for a break halfway in the journey. The use of the added trailer for luggage was a godsend, as there was 10 adults with lots of luggage and items for our week holiday. Jack informed us off his approximate arrival time for the return journey on the first day, and reassured us there was no rush even if he was early, we could leave in our own time but provided his telephone number in case we had any problems and needed to change the time etc. We will definitely be using Bristol Travel for any future trips we have. Words cannot describe how great Bristol Travel were. The vehicle supplied was very roomy, clean. Loved the fact there was WiFi on board. The trailer was a great addition too as there were no issues with the luggage. Our driver Fred was very punctual, helpful and extremely friendly. Will be using them again and will be recommending them to others.
Even though COVID has prevented us from taking part in our charitable mountain climb in Morocco, Tony was very accommodating on the numerous occasions that I had to re-arrange the journey. And when re-arranging was no longer an option he had no problem in offering a refund.
I’ll definitely be using his services for our airport runs when we can get this trip on the road!!!!
